Carting a desktop to a shop is a pain, and you often come home with a job number and not much else. We bring the tools to you, work out what has gone wrong and talk you through it.

- It won't turn on, or it starts and then shuts down

- The laptop runs hot, or the fan sounds like a hair dryer
- The keyboard, trackpad or screen has stopped behaving

How a repair visit goes

We find the fault
We test the likely causes first, starting with the cheap ones. A dodgy charger is a much better result than a dead motherboard.

You hear your options
We tell you what is wrong and what it would take to fix it. If the repair doesn't make sense for an older machine, we say so.

We fix it or sort the parts
Plenty of jobs are finished on the day. If a part has to be ordered, we explain the timing and come back to fit it.

Yes. We work on both, including desktops, laptops and all-in-ones.
What if you need to take my computer away?
Most work happens at your place. If a job needs a workshop or a specialist part, we'll explain why before anything leaves your home.
